Jeana Hensley

(Huntington, WV) Jeana Hensley, PMHNP-BC, MSN, BSN, RN, an advanced practice provider who specializes in treatments for adults and children with common mood and anxiety disorders, has joined OVP HEALTH at its Williamson, WV, Millard, Ky., and Pikeville, Ky. outpatient locations.

Hensley is accepting new patients for evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health disorders. She focuses on medication management for psychiatric and mental health disorders for adults and children. Hensley also specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, panic and phobic disorders, mood disorders, PTSD, and schizophrenia across the lifespan. She accepts patients ages five and older and can evaluate, diagnose, and treat ADHD, or other childhood behavioral disorders.

“I am eager to serve the patients in the communities where I have spent my entire life,” Hensley said. “I chose to specialize in mental health for my practice because we know there are many people in our communities, of all ages, who need a plan to address their mental health challenges. Hensley earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at the University of Pikeville and a Master of Science as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Northern Kentucky University.
